Uzeb's last album "World Tour 90' " is among the best fusion albums ever recorded live. I got mine from Audiophile Imports many years ago. The playing is amazing and the recording quality is excellent. Paul Brochu and Alain Caron are a perfect match and there is one cut on the live recording that they go "way out" together and nail it. I'm hoping to catch the one of the shows in LA during Namm week. That line-up sounds like a classic outing!
Don't forget that even though Don Alias' solo project/tour didn't work, Alias actually recorded and toured with UZEB in the 80's. Killer shows!

I remember one time, t'was the "Fast Emotion" album Tour (the one featuring Michael Brecker), I had been given a backstage opportunity. The show ended with a killin drum solo and Don Alias was there backstage (he was touring with the band), he kept pointing his fingers at Paul in amazement with a huge grin on his face... I'll never forget that moment. I was around 15 at the time and I somehow knew I was witnessing a great drummer in the making, he was only 25 years old. He's remained a major influance and inspiration ever since...
